The London Borough of Brent is seeking suitably qualified and experienced organisations to tender for inclusion on a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of affordable temporary accommodation to house homeless families.
Services to be provided under the DPS comprise of property acquisition (viewings and the lettings process), property maintenance, tenancy management and property inspections. The DPS is divided into two lots. Lot 1 covers the provision of temporary accommodation within M25, while Lot 2 covers the provision of temporary accommodation outside the M25. Organisations can bid to be included in either 1 or both lots.
The DPS will be open for use to the London Boroughs of Barnet, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Hillingdon, Haringey, Hounslow, Lewisham, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the City of Westminster. It is anticipated that the DPS will commence in July 2015 for an initial 2 year period with the option to extend for up to 2 years.
The DPS is required to be operational by July 2015 for the provision of temporary accommodation from July 2015 to June 2017. To enable the Council to initially set up the DPS and for it to be operationally by July 2015, the Council has set 12:00 noon 10.4.2015 as an initial deadline for expressions of interest.
After this deadline, interested Organisations may apply to be included onto the DPS by uploading tenders for evaluation at any time throughout the duration of the dynamic purchasing system. Admittance to the dynamic purchasing system will depend on organisations meeting the minimum criteria as stated in the tender documentation by the Council.
By applying to this notice for inclusion onto the DPS, subject to meeting the minimum standards, Organisations will be invited to participate in subsequent call off processes for the provision of temporary accommodation within the duration as stated above. This will not be subject to Simplified Notice.
Organisations wishing to express their interest in providing this service must use the link below to register on the London Borough of Brent e-tendering system, the London Tenders Portal, which is free of charge. Please allow sufficient time to register (at least 1 working day). Tender documentation will be available to download on expression of interest.
