II.1.5)Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
Warwickshire County Council requires an inspection, maintenance and repair service for it's premises BMS Controllers located in 339 buildings. Controllers are installed into heating and ventilation systems to regulate the heating requirements around a building by controlling Heating, HWS and AHU Plant to programmed settings.
The Framework is split over 3 Lots, each representing a different schedule of work (dependant on the Equipment Manufacturer).
It is designed that each Lot can be awarded to a single supplier allowing a maximum of 3 suppliers under this agreement. There is also the potential for a single supplier to win multiple Lots.
The Framework will also be open for use by:
North Warwickshire Borough Council, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, Stratford on Avon District Council, Warwick District Council, Rugby Borough Council, Coventry City Council and Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.

The Contract has been broken into 3 lots to reflect the three distinct product schedules. Each schedule is supported by an IT Interface which allows Officers to instruct controllers from a central location.

The provision being procured is primarily for the use of Warwickshire County Council.
