II.2.1)Total quantity or scopeDartford Borough Council is looking to appoint a single supplier to provide building consultancy and surveying services. The successful company must be able to provide the following services; building surveying, services engineers/surveyors, civil engineers, structural engineers, CDM-C (construction, design & mangement coordinators) clerk of works, lift engineers, cad technicians and marine engineers.
The contract will be for 2 years with an option to extend for a further year subject to the consultant's performance and customer satisfaction during the initial life of the contract.
The contract approximate value is 75 000 GBP per annum. This sum is intended only as a guide and the Council will not guarantee the annual sum or total contract value.

Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required Applicants should be able to demonstrate financial stability. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate the availability of financial resources appropriate to such an undertaking allowing for its value and duration and be able to provide public and employers liability insurance at 5 000 000 GBP and 10 000 000 GBP respectively. Also professional indemnity insurance being not less than 2 000 000 GBP. Applicants must provide a minimum of 2 years full sets of accounts for their and any parent company. Full set of standards are set out in the pre qualification questionnaire.

Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: Each organisation that submits an expression of interest must complete a pre qualification questionnaire (PQQ). The (PQQ) contains both threshold questions and scoring questions. All PQQ's that meet the threshold criteria will be scored. The top 6 scoring organisation will be invited to tender.
