South Essex Homes Limited (SEH) is an Arms Length Management Organisation of Southend Borough Council, a registered provider of a social housing, operating predominately in Southend on Sea, Essex with some 6 200 residential properties. SEH is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Service Providers to enter into a contract to deliver primarily responsive repairs and voids works to properties under the management of SEH with the potential of inclusion of occasional, painting, planned or programmed works including kitchen and bathroom replacement (In void properties only).
The initial scope of the works will be the day to day responsive repairs (excluding gas works) and approximately 80 % void works but with the potential to deliver occasional painting, planned or programmed works. The successful Service Provider will undertake the transfer of existing staff (TUPE).

While the Contracting Authority cannot guarantee volumes, it is estimated that the total value for orders could be, over the life of the 5 year contract term between 10,000,00 and 11, 500 000 GBP excluding VAT.
However if the 2 year option is taken up the total value may increase to between 14,000,00 and 16,100,000. GBP excluding VAT.

Information and formalities necessary for evaluating if requirements are met: Interested parties will be required to complete a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ). The PQQ will be issued to applicants on receipt of an electronic request to . The completed PQQ and must be returned in hard copy format to Mrs G Lander at South Essex Homes by the date stipulated in IV.3.4.

Applicants will be asked to confirm in pre-qualification questionnaire that none of the conditions set out in Articles 45-50 of Directive 2004/18/EC apply to their organisation or expression of interest.
