This Contract is intended to meet London Borough of Haringey's requirements for an IT Network Managed Service both on-site and off-site. These requirements cover the management of the Council’s voice and data networks, security, DMZ and optionally the physical data centre environment management.
The London Borough of Haringey will require an IT Voice and Data Network Managed Service to include the supply of products and services as follows:
- network management, including monitoring and operational support of both LAN, WAN and the Council’s Wireless Network,
- security management, including the proactive monitoring and operational support of the elements of the DMZ, firewalls, including intrusion prevention and detection,
- physical data centre environment management and operational support,(an option the Council may or may not require),
- management of the provision of IPT products including the deployment of the IPT products,(An option the Council may or may not require),
- management of agreed third party providers,(an option the Council may or may not require),
- to advise, support and manage Network optimisation and rationalisation,(an option the Council may or may not require).
Provision of any ICT related goods or services as required by the Authority,(an option the Council may or may not require).
- the supplier will provide day to day administration, support and fault rectification to the live environment,
- the supplier will provide: professional advice, guidance, implementation services for, and future support of, equipment and services installed by or during any projects.

The Ranges are broken down as follows:
Lower bound is based on a 3 year contract at the lowest estimated price.
Upperc bound is based on a maximum of a 5 year contract at the maximum estimated price.

The completed Pre-Qualififcation Questionnaire and all supporting documentation must be returned by the deadline set out in IV.3.4 above. Tenders shall be aware that the date referred to in section IV.3.5 is best estimated only at the time of dispatch of this notice and the contracting authority reserves the right to alter such date. The contracting authority reserves the right not to award any contract as a result of the procurement process intiated by this notice and in such event will not be liable for any costs incurred by any party. Applicants are advised that TUPE may apply to the excisting employees engaged on the current contracts; relevant details will be included within the tender V1.3.1 The duration of the contract as stated in paras II.2.i and II.3 is stated to be 3 years (36 months) with an option to extend for a further 2 years (24 Months).
