Repair, maintenance and associated services related to aircraft, railways, roads and marine equipment. This Notice is in support of an Urgent operational requirement for forward and depth maintenance of quantity 2 additional BAE 146QC (quick change) aircraft, in Operational Theatre, for the period of 1.3.2013 - 31.3.2015 inclusive, although these dates may need to change. A large element of the depth maintenance required should be performed at RAF Northolt. Due to the start date and correlated training and preparation training required prior to the start date of March 2013, the Authority proposes to add this requirement to the extant Multi-Activity Contract for RAF Northolt between the Authority and Serco, via a contract amendment.

In accordance with UK Government UOR AO1677, 2 additional UK Government BAe 146QC aircraft are to deploy to an Operational Theatre and therefore require forward and depth maintenance. Such maintenance must be provided by a Contractor using sponsored reserves, and due to the time constraint of recruiting and training such personnel, a contractual arrangement must be in place by the first week of June 2012.
