Yorkshire Housing Limited (YHL) is a 70 000 000 GBP turnover charitable business currently employing over 750 people. YHL aims to be one of the best providers of homes and support. YHL currently provides more than 16 000 affordable homes throughout Yorkshire operating in the following areas: Barnsley, Bradford, Calderdale, Craven, Doncaster, East Riding, Harrogate, Kirklees, Leeds, Rotherham, Ryedale, Selby, Sheffield, Wakefield and York. YHL sought bids from contractors to participate in an investment works framework; primarily decent homes/capital investment works within tenanted properties as set out in the project brief, covering the following lots:
Lot 1: North - investment, major works and planned preventative and fire risk arisings work.
Lot 2: West & South - investment, major works and planned preventative and fire risk arisings work.
Lot 3: painting and pre-paint repairs - North/West/South.
Lot 4: supply & fit of windows and doors - North/West/South.
The framework will last for a maximum of 4. YHL reserves the right to award call-off contracts of varying length, subject to the work required and the needs of YHL.

The framework is for use for YHL, it will however be available for use by other contracting authorities, particularly members of ‘Efficiency North’ (http://www.efficiencynorth.org/). The value estimates provided are solely for works to be issued by YHL, there are currently no value estimates available in relation to works required by Efficiency North members or other contracting authorities.
