Projects under the framework are expected to fall under the following areas:

- Providing specialist support in formulating, developing and underpinning NDA's strategy across all strategy themes - Independent peer-review of technical documents, plans, programmes of work and projects under other frameworks, e.g. DRP - Assist NDA with technology management and associated plans and procedures.

- Assist NDA in coordinating and managing technical and strategic meetings, workshops and forums - Assist NDA to develop scopes of work, e.g. Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents for competition under other frameworks (mostly DRP) - Support to technical assessment of tender responses to ITTs and deliverables.

- Desk based strategic assessments where they do not belong under the scope of DRP framework - Experimental work is not in the scope of this framework.

Contract value estimated to be 2 000 000 GBP over 4 years (24+12+12 months).

Nuclear Materials

- Support to NDA work on uranics and plutonium disposition.

Provides evidence that there has been no qualification of audited accounts in the past 2 consecutive years(or, where the Potential Provider is a Consortium, that no member of the Consortium has accounts that are qualified); and Shows that the financial standing of the Potential Provider is such that a Dun and Bradstreet Risk Indicator rating of 1 or 2 would be achieved (or in the case of a Consortium, the financial information submitted by any member of the Consortium shows that each member would achieve a Risk Indicator rating of 1 or 2) or, if the Risk Indicator rating would be greater than 2, the Potential Provider has presented evidence of mitigating circumstances that in NDA's sole discretion demonstrates that the Potential Provider is sufficiently financially robust to deliver the requirement.
