The TCP is seeking to commission the least restrictive option for individuals with a preference for supported living or specialised housing with care where this can safely meet needs and promote the achievement of a range of outcomes. The TCP will commission registered residential care through these contracts where it is agreed that this arrangement is required to best meet the specific needs of an individual or group of individuals.

As National Policy and new models of care evolve commissioners will work collaboratively with selected providers to deliver future arrangements that best meet the needs of our local population. This may require alliance and partnership models to be developed in future.
