WCC is looking for a Provider (or group of Providers through a Lead Provider) to deliver a Welfare Rights Service through a single contract. If the Service is delivered by more than 1 Provider, the Providers will work together to minimise duplication and ensure a cost effective delivery model.

The Service will deliver within Warwickshire a high quality, flexible, and accessible range of advice, support, and representation to and in support of Warwickshire citizens facing challenges in relation to their:

a) Welfare benefits entitlements.

b) Employment benefit rights.

The initial term is for 27 months to allow the contract to align with the Advice Services within Warwickshire contract.

The Council will undertake its financial assessment of the tendering organisation (and if considered necessary by the Council, any partners within a consortium bid) based on its own evaluation of the Tenderers most recent 2 years accounts (or if 2 years accounts are not available, equivalent evidence which confirms financial viability). The assessment of accounts will be supported by an independent credit reference report from Creditsafe where this is available. The Council may also impose a Bond or Performance Guarantee on the successful Tenderer. Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: Evidence as stated in the tender documentation.
