The duration of the contract will be for an initial term of 3 years commencing on 30.10.2017 and concluding on 29.9.2020. Consideration will be given to a possible contract extension period of 1 year + 1 year. The School will require investment from the successful Tenderer in order to keep pace with current trends. This will involve, as a minimum requirement, a level of investment to modernise key pieces of heavy equipment within the main kitchen area, and a fresh approach to enhance the service delivery, including signage solutions.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

Bingley Grammar School is a voluntary aided School for boys and girls aged 11-18 years and is located on the outskirts of Bingley, West Yorkshire, England. The School invites tenders from suitably experienced organisations who can demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the secondary/academy school sector and who should hold similar contracts which are both local and relevant to the size of this contract.

The tender project is seeking to appoint a supplier whose initiative and innovation will be welcomed to enhance the service provision, whilst keeping a focus on the key objectives as detailed in the tender document. High quality service levels will be expected and should be maintained throughout the contract term with a firm focus being on the quality of food served. The School would expect that students are offered a range of different foods which are well balanced, fresh and nutritious enabling them to make healthy and informed choices.
