Are considering the re-procurement of Communication Support Services and wish to conduct market engagement before deciding their route to commission the services.

The Contracting Authorities are seeking views and comments from suppliers on the services required through the use of a Request for Information (RFI) document which contains further information about the requirement and a questionnaire.

Procurement Approach Update:

The Contracting Authorities appreciate the feedback received from suppliers in response to their Request for Information document.

Having reviewed the responses, the Contracting Authorities are minded to procure the services in 2 separate approaches.

1) Face 2 Face - Overseas Language and BSL. Through a mini competition through the existing framework convened by East Sussex County Council - Supply of Translation and Interpretation Services (SUSTI).

2) Telephone, Translated Overseas Language Including Braile, Video / Relay. Through a separate procurement.

Invitation to Registration of Interest for the Bidder Event on 12.7.2017 at 14:00:

The Contracting Authorities will be holding a further market engagement step in the form of an information event for prospective suppliers on Wednesday 12.7.2017 at 14:00 in Brighton, UK (details of the venue will be provided to registered attendees) which will last approximately 1 ½ hours.

To book places for this event, prospective suppliers must submit their details (see details required below) to by no later than midday on Monday 10th July.

Places at the event cannot be guaranteed if supplier details are not submitted by the deadline and places will be booked on a first come first served basis where there are capacity limitations with the venue.

Prospective suppliers should note that their attendance at the above event will be entirely at their own expense and the Contracting Authorities are not obliged to reimburse or refund any expenses incurred resulting from the Candidate's attendance/non-attendance for any reason whatsoever.
