- Comprehensive water industry knowledge in developing trials and schemes for research and development purposes.

- The engineering knowledge to translate concept sketches provided by The Coal Authority into fully-functioning trial equipment installed on-site in Wakefield.

- The supply of skilled operative labour that is capable of carrying out hands-on trials with access to mechanical; electrical and instrumentation/control resources for troubleshooting.

The suppliers' operatives will be able to take technical instructions from The Coal Authority. The suppliers' project manager will provide operatives will all the necessary support during the trials to ensure that all trials are well controlled.

- It is a key requirement that all supplier staff constructively provide challenge to The Coal Authority to actively add value to this trial programme.

- High level of health and safety awareness and behavioural discipline.
