NHS England North Specialised Commissioning Team (Yorkshire and Humber Hub) has procured Inpatient HIV services providing an Adult Specialised HIV Outpatient Service for Wakefield District and Dewsbury localities. Adult specialist services for patients infected with HIV include inpatient care for HIV related conditions in Adult Specialist HIV Treatment Centres and outpatient care provided by these Specialist Centres including outreach when delivered as part of a provider network. (Manual for Prescribed Specialised Services 2016/17, p55)

Any provider of these services should be fully compliant with the requirements of the NHS England B06/S/a Specialised Adult HIV service specification. The successful provider is required to transition to the national tariff when this comes into being.

The Contracting Authority will continue to act in accordance with Part 3 Chapter 5 Regulation 85 to 87 and Regulation 95 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (SI 2015 No:102) (PCR 2015). Part 3 of the PCR 2015 provides for appeals to be made to the High Court subject to the time limitations and other required procedural steps.
