II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

The Trust is seeking a single specialist partner solution with demonstrable capability and experience in operating within the radio-pharmacy market who can augment and complement the radio-pharmacy expertise at MVCC. Should the opportunity be advertised organisations will have to demonstrate an ability to:

- Supply 99Mo-99Tcm generators reliably to MVCC site;

- Development of an alternative technology(ies) for the production of Tc99m with the ability to provide Tc99m on a daily basis to the MVCC radio-pharmacy;

- Supply non-99Tcm radio-pharmaceuticals to the MVCC site;

- Supply of radio-pharmaceutical kits for the preparation of 99Tcm radio-pharmaceuticals to the MVCC site;

- Work with the MVCC to develop clinical / research PET radio-pharmaceuticals based on generator produced nuclides;

- Provide logistical support to the MVCC radio-pharmacy for the delivery of radio-pharmaceuticals to other hospitals / organisations.
