Resettlement is offered to refugees displaced to neighbouring countries by the ongoing conflict, rather than to those who have already travelled to Europe. Herefordshire Council has agreed to accept up to 60 refugees, which is likely to equate to approximately 20 households. They will generally be in family groups, but could also include a small number of vulnerable single people or couples.
